I take Optimum Creatine daily after works. My strength has increased in both weight training, and core workouts. This stuff is great, nothing fancy about it, just straight creatine. One thing you probably want to add is DAA if your goal is muscle gain, . I’ve had gains with daa alone that have rivaled creatine so together, they work very well. Other than a good diet, this is all you need for gaining muscle. Something that also helps is to mix the creatine and glutamine in with soem type of high sugar drink, trust me on this one. The creatine attaches itself to the sugar and gets into your bloodstream alot quicker. I think grape juice is ideal because of the glycemic index ratings are higher with that juice than others but as long as you take some type of sugar with it (after your…

  2. Over the years I have used a number of different brands of creatine, and this is as good as any. This product mixes well in plan water, and as another reviewer pointed out, no creatine powder will mix completely. To mix it in water, just stir it somewhat vigorously and drink it while it is swirling, there will be a little left in the glass, so just add a small amount of water and drink it. There is no taste, and the powder isn’t very gritty, so it is very easy to drink. Another option is to just add it to a protein shake (but see below).

The serving size is 5 grams (a rounded teaspoon of this product, not a heaping teaspoon), which is perfect because most articles (Men’s Health, etc.) recommend 3-5 grams per day, except for possible “loading” the first week (loading means taking two or three servings in a day the first week). I don’t really think loading is necessary, and I felt results with just 5 grams per day. In any case, I would be cautious, and avoid taking more…

  3. Simple, effective, and probably the best size for me. No need for all that other fancy stuff in the big flavored tubs. I just use a teaspoon a day to keep my creatine and creatinine levels up, make sure I stay hydrated, and eat a little simple carbs right after swallowing the teaspoonful. I find it’s easier to just dump a teaspoonful in my mouth and down it with water, rather than trying to chug a glass full of grainy drink. It’s not there to build you muscle, though… you gotta do the work, it only helps you keep going for maybe 1 more rep or so, depending on the person.
